ron blue with Cory the Robot
My friend and co-creator of the robots designed and built at this site, Ron Blue, passed away right before the New Year due to complications
which developed in the hospital after a heart attack. Ron was an interesting and unique person whose talents and insights on AI will be missed.
He is shown here with one of our first creations, Cory, which he "lugged" all around the Trump Taj Mahal for a conference being held there....he made
several acquaintances  and was able to wrangle some good feedback from some of the 'talking heads'  there. It seemed Ron had no fear when it came to
getting people to listen to his ideas, and he was always willing to go the extra mile in order to secure a meeting or at least a conversation with the likes of NASA, the Military,  and others with  some "pull" in the AI World.
His contributions to this field are relatively unknown, and not by any fault of his own, but rather because of the seemingly hard line the AI community takes with
new or different ideas. He did successfully publish a few papers and by way of the Internet, able to get a lot of our ideas into the public eye.....still, it seemed like a never ending uphill battle to get anyone to take us seriously....but that wouldn't stop him as he was committed one hundred percent to what we where trying to do.
His ideas and enthusiasm for our projects will continue through me in the best way I possibly can do without him coaching me along. The memory of Ron will be embedded  into every new project that I complete, and within every word I write about our efforts.
It's sad to think that I will never share pie and coffee with him again as we discuss everything from geology to the Universe.
See you in another life, my friend.

"Bell's theorem dealt a shattering blow to Einstein's position by showing that the conception of reality as consisting of separate parts, joined by local connections, is incompatible with quantum theory... Bell's theorem demonstrates that the universe is fundamentally interconnected, interdependent, and inseparable." --Fritjof Capra

"One can imagine that when nerve impulses arrive at synapses [they] produce electrical events on the other side of the synapse that take the form of momentary standing wave fronts. Typically the junctions made by a nerve fibre number in the dozens, if not hundreds. The pattern set up by arriving nerve impulses presumably form a microstructure of wave forms that can interact with similar microstructures arising in overlapping junctional circuits. [..... These wave fronts] set up interference patterns [] producing in their totality something resembling a hologram." (Pribram, 1969, p77;86; emphasis added.)

"The attractive feature of the hypothesis is that the information is distributed throughout the stored hologram and is thus resistant to insult. If even a small corner of a hologram is illuminated by the appropriate input, the entire original scene reappears. Moreover, holograms can be layered one on top of the other and yet be separately reconstructed." (Pribram, 1969, p86; emphasis added.)
